Cascade Symphony Orchestra presents the Cascade Chamber Orchestra during its “Tragic Schubert” concert, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds.
Selections from the concert include Vivaldi’s Concerto in A minor for Two Violins, with Michael Miropolsky and James Garlick on violins; a work by Arthur Foote called “A Night Piece” for Flute and String Orchestra, featuring Jennifer Mahaffey on flute; Haydn’s Concerto No. 2 in C major for Trumpet, with George Steward on trumpet; and Schubert’s Tragic Symphony, Symphony No. 4 in C minor.
