Pacific Wellness & Lactation, a clinic that provides breastfeeding support and perinatal care, opened Nov. 1 and will host an open house and networking event 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday. The public and birth professionals are welcome.
Following the event, the clinic will offer a free presentation, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., on “The IBCLC and the Breastfeeding Dyad with Tongue Tie” by the clinic owners, BreAnne Marcucci and Jennifer Millich. Attendees can receive free 1.5 lacation continuing education recognition points.
Marcucci is a family nurse practitioner and international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). Millich is a registered nurse and IBCLC.
“Jennifer and I have worked in postpartum and lactation for almost the entirety of our medical careers and have a true passion for perinatal care,” said Marcucci. “We founded this clinic to increase access to quality lactation and postpartum care in the area we grew up and currently live, Everett and Snohomish County.”
