Moms, how about some tea and empathy?
The Snohomish Health District is inviting pregnant women and mothers of small children to a tea from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the district office,
The event is a collaboration between Everett’s First Steps program and the health district’s Women, Infants and Children program to offer information about the community resources available to mothers.
Several agencies will be present to answer questions, including nurses, nutritionists, pregnancy specialists and breastfeeding experts.
There will also be refreshments, door prizes and a play space for children.
