U2 fans who were disappointed when a medical emergency cancelled the June 20 show at Qwest Field will have plenty of time to get psyched for the rescheduled tour.
Frontman Bono underwent emergency spinal surgery in Germany. Now, the rocker says he’s rebuilt and better than ever.
Live Nation announced this week that U2 plans to rock the Seahawks’ home turf on June 4, 2011. Yep, next year.
All tickets for this year’s show will be valid at the rescheduled performances, officials said.
“We want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us,” band manager Paul McGuinness said.
The 2010 European tour, which hasn’t been affected, is scheduled to begin Aug. 6 in Turin, Italy.
