The tulips have yet to blossom for the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, but visitors can still see sunny colors this weekend.
As of Friday morning, eight fields of daffodils were showing full color, according to the festival’s bloom map. Two more daffodil fields were blushing with a haze of color.
The RoozenGaarde Display Garden also presented some signs of spring, with the crocus, snow drops, and a few daffodils offering pure bright tones.
Visit www.tulipfestival.org for more on the 26th annual festival, and read The Herald each Saturday in April for weekly updates on flowers in bloom.
