The Noteworthy Duo, a guitar and flute combo, will play folk and Latin American music in a concert Tuesday at Everett library.
Guitarist Michael Nigro and flutist Lisa Schroeder, from Long Beach, Calif., will stop in Everett while swinging through the Northwest on a summer tour.
Schroeder performs across the U.S. and Europe. She is the winner of the 2009 National Flute Association Convention Performers Competition and holds a masters in music in flute performance.
Nigro has performed at universities, libraries and guitar societies. He has released two solo recordings: “Homage to ” and “Guitar Sudamerican.”
The Noteworthy Duo will play at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Everett Public Library’s main auditorium, 2702 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
