Gardeners can enter homegrown roses in three categories, including best in show, best fragrant rose, and best floral design incorporating perennials and roses.

Entries must be submitted by 9:30 a.m. Ciscoe Morris will announce the winners and award gift certificates in the afternoon.

Nursery co-owner John Christianson will hose a rose garden tour at 11:30 a.m., followed by light refreshments.

Lectures include “Easy-Care Roses,” by Robyn Sweesy at 1 p.m., “Roses in the Landscape” with Ciscoe Morris at 2:30 p.m. and a rose ice cream social at 3:30 p.m.
