Fresh off a win at the 2010 Grammy Awards, the Zac Brown Band will storm into Everett for a Sunday show at Comcast Arena.

The country group broke into the mainstream in 2009 following the release of its platinum-selling debut, “The Foundation.”

That album scored one hit after another for the Atlanta-based group, including “Chicken Fried.”

Along with success in the stores, the group won critical accolades. The band earned three Grammy nominations this year, taking home the best new artist award over alt-rock group MGMT and R&B star Keri Hilson.

Now, the group is working hard on its follow-up to “The Foundation.”

Zac Brown and his crew have been playing many of the songs from that yet-to-be-named album at live shows, which should give Everett fans a chance to hear the group’s latest material long before it reaches the radio.

7 p.m. Sunday, Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett; $29.75 and $39.75; comcastarenaeverett.com or 866-332-8499.

Twista: The man billed as one of the world’s fastest rappers will make an appearance Thursday at a small club show in Everett.

The Overnight Celebrity Tour will bring platinum-selling rapper Twista to Hayley’s, the old site of downtown club Jimmy Z’s.

Twista launched his career in 1997, when his debut album “Adrenaline Rush” made it onto the charts.

The man known for his quick wordplay hasn’t slowed since. Guest appearances on tracks by Kanye West and Mariah Carey have kept him on the radio between releases of his own albums.

The Chicago-based rapper is touring now behind his latest chart success, “Category F5,” which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

8 p.m. Thursday, Hayley’s, 1716 Hewitt Ave., Everett; $20; ticketswest.com or 800-992-8499.

Jamie Cullum: Not many jazz artists make it onto the Billboard 200 these days.

But Jamie Cullum does.

The British pianist’s ability to blend pop rock with jazz has led to a string of successes, most recently capped by his November album, “The Pursuit,” which hit No. 42 on the Billboard 200 this month.

Critical plaudits have also been heaped on Cullum. He earned a Golden Globe nomination alongside Clint Eastwood for their work on the title track to the director’s 2008 movie, “Gran Torino.”

Now, he’ll come to Seattle for a show, as he tours behind “The Pursuit.”

7:30 p.m. Sunday, Moore Theatre, 1932 Second Ave., Seattle; $33; stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Jet: One of Australia’s latest AC/DC incarnations, Jet, will storm into Seattle for a show next week.

The Melbourne group first came to listeners’ attention in 2003, when the chugging beat of “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” became a big crossover hit.

That track was followed by a string of hits that consistently kept the band on the charts through 2006.

After a brief lull in action, the group returned to the spotlight last year with its latest work, “Shaka Rock,” another album of radio-friendly rock ’n’ roll.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Showbox at the Market, 1426 First Ave., Seattle; $19; ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.
