The inspirational Old Testament story of Esther, the queen who saved her people from destruction, comes to the big screen in a movie based on the novel “Hadassah: One Night With the King” by Tommy Tenney and Mark Andrew Olsen. Stars include Luke Goss and Omar Sharif (both above), Peter O’Toole, John Rhys-Davies, John Noble and Tiffany Dupont. The movie, opening today at Alderwood Mall, Everett, Marysville, Meridian and Woodinville, is rated PG for violence, some sensuality and thematic elements.
