Take to the air: See historic planes buzzing Paine Field at Vintage Aircraft Weekend, 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday at 10719 Bernie Webber Drive. There will be old-time cars as well as planes, music, food and more planes, sponsored by Historic Flight Foundation. The fun goes on Sunday too, with chances to take a ride in a biplane or a DC-3. Art in the air: The work of 27 plein air artists is on display at the Roaming Artists Art Show at Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 E. Camano Drive, Camano Island. The show goes on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Music, maestro, please: Catch singer-songwriter Ali Marcus from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Arlington Farmers Market at Legion Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave. Then skedaddle back to Everett’s Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive, for the last free waterfront concert this summer featuring rock/hip hop group Riverside from 6:30 to 8:30 Saturday night.
At play: The Phoenix Theatre’s production of the Neil Simon play “God’s Favorite,” about a modern-day Job, continues at 8 Saturday night at 9673 Firdale Ave. Tickets are $15.50 to $18.50 and available at the box office by calling 206-533-2000 or clicking here.
