Pop culture will invade the Pratt Fine Arts Center in an exhibit that features glass sculptures and 2-D works that reference the pop art movement.
The exhibit “POP” opens at 6 p.m. Thursday and is on display through May 1 at Pratt Gallery at Tashiro Kaplan Studios, 306 S. Washington St., Suite 102, Seattle.
The artists showing work during “POP” include:
Rebecca Chernow, whose background is in glass and neon sculpture and who has worked in glass studios across the country, including the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood.
Carrie Mood also studied at the Pilchuck Glass School and is a regular summer staff member.
Morgan Sims recently exhibited prints at the Lynnwood Public Library and Cayn Thompson is a glassblower who learned his skills at Pilchuck Glass School.
