The Porterhouse Brewfest will celebrate its seventh year this Aug. 15, with tickets now available for the Mount Vernon block party.
Three blues bands and more than 20 breweries will participate in the 21-and-over event, which runs from 2 to 7:30 p.m. at First and Gates streets.
Tickets allow attendees to have five beer tastes. Participating breweries include Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing, Bellingham’s Boundary Bay Brewery and Mukilteo’s Diamond Knot Brewing.
Outside the beer, three bands provide entertainment. The Chris Eger Band opens the fest at 2 p.m., followed by Alice Stuart and the Formerlys at 4 p.m. Lady A and the Baby Blues Funk Band go on at 6:30 p.m., closing the night.
