KING FM radio station has chosen to feature music and concert information for Everett Philharmonic Orchestra next week on Classical KING FM’s Northwest Focus program to help preview the philharmonic’s upcoming concert on Oct. 8.
Everett Philharmonic Orchestra is opening their second season wiht a performance at 7 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave., Everett. Free stageside chat with conductor Paul Elliott Cobbs begins at 6 p.m. For more information on that concert go to The Everett Philharmonic website.
Northwest Focus will be playing the following selections from that upcoming concert. Here is the schedule:
Oct. 3
Beethoven: “Fidelio, Op.72:” Overture at approximately 8 p.m.
Oct. 4
Beethoven: “Symphony No.7 in A, Op.92” at approximately 9:13 p.m.
Oct. 6
Dvorak: “Cello Concerto in B minor, Op.104” at approximately 8:48 p.m.
Oct. 7
Barber: “The School for Scandal Overture, Op.5” approximately 9 p m.
