For a huge country star, Alan Jackson has stayed true to his roots.
Jackson played for thousands of fans at Comcast Arena Everett on Friday night.
Instead of being swept up into the glamour of pop that took over much of Nashville, Jackson struck back with his hit single, “Murder on Music Row.”
While other performers were relying on glitz and production value, he stuck with what some call “pure” country: a man and his guitar.
Over the years, Jackson has developed a strong following for his original music and genuine performance style.
Late last year, he released a new greatest hits album, “34 Number Ones.”
He’s already put out a new single from a yet-to-be-released album, “Long Way To Go.”
