Baby faces: Babies, toddlers and parents will all be making silly sounds along with story-time readings of “Such a Silly Baby.” There are two opportunities to catch authors Steffanie and Richard Lorig at play: 11 a.m. Thursday at the University Book Store at Mill Creek, and 10 a.m. Friday at Third Place Books.

Mystery movie: The Granite Falls Library invites teens to an after-school movie at 3 p.m. Thursday. The mystery is the library can’t reveal the name of the movie, but promise it will have magicians and mayhem. You can ask a librarian to reveal the secret title at 360-691-6087.
