Love life: Charles LeWarne talks about his book on the history of the Arlington Love Israel family, “Love Israel Family: Urban Commune, Rural Commune,” at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Public Library.
Paul Erdmann started the religious commune in 1968, changing his name to Love Israel. After more than a decade in Seattle, the family members still with the group moved to an Arlington ranch.
LeWarne’s book will be available for signing following his talk. It lists at $24.95.

Flying high: Do you recall Richard Bach? Here’s a clue: “Jonathan Livingston Seagull.” The author, a longtime pilot, will speak at Out of the Blue Aviation in Arlington at 1 p.m. Jan. 10 about his books on aviation, including his latest, “Hypnotizing Maria.”
