Forget Anna Nicole Smith, Paris Hilton or Victoria Gotti.
Get ready for the next blond reality star.
She’s Farrah Fawcett, the object of every adolescent male’s imagination during the early years of the Jimmy Carter administration.
TV Land has ordered six episodes of “Chasing Farrah,” a show that follows the onetime “Charlie’s Angels” star through the most mundane aspects of her everyday life. It premieres Jan. 19.
In the show, Fawcett, 57, travels from Hollywood to Miami to New York to Texas with her entourage of managers and publicists, giving TV Land full access.
“So many of our perceptions of Farrah Fawcett are through the tabloids, quick sound bites on the news and her roles in film and television,” Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land and Nick at Nite, said in a prepared statement. “TV Land wants to take our viewers into the life of Farrah Fawcett to see what she’s really about, since so few of us know what it’s like to be a recognized Hollywood icon for your entire adult life.”
TV Land promises highlights including Fawcett’s trip to the salon and her visit to the U.S. Open. She also loses her wallet. Hilarity ensues.
