If your weekend to-do list includes picking up produce at a local market and finding time to get your child’s hair cut, Haller Point Market in Arlington has a one-stop solution for you.
The market has built on its traditional offerings of local produce, crafts, ice cream and family activities by adding free events through the summer, starting with haircuts for kids ages 3 to 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Licensed stylists will be on hand at The Village Store in Haller Point Market, which is the former Country Charm Dairy, at 604 E. Gilman Ave. in Arlington. A parent or guardian must accompany each child.
While the haircuts are free, organizers note that donations are welcome, and 50 percent of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. More details are at 360-435-1594.
