Paging garage sale fans: Generally, libraries are more about borrowing than bartering.
But on Saturday, children can swap toys with one another at the 16th annual Recyclorama.
A variation on yard sales, the event gives parents a way to clear out the kids’ closet. No registration fee is required for the event, where children buy, sell and trade their old belongings with others.
Already, about 50 people have reserved a spot. The event itself is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Branch Library, 9512 Evergreen Way, Everett. Families selling items should bring a blanket or table to display their wares on the library lawn.
While you’re there, don’t forget to take advantage of one of the best ways to save a buck: check out a library book.
