It all comes out in the wash: If you’re in the market for a new clothes washer or dishwasher, the Snohomish County PUD is offering additional rebates to its customers who purchase qualifying appliances: $75 for a clothes washer and $35 for a dishwasher.
The PUD is making the offer to encourage people to purchase Energy Star appliances, which use less energy. To find out which appliances are eligible and for more details, go to www.snopud.com and enter “appliance rebate program” in the search field.
Rebate applications can be downloaded from the PUD Web site. You must apply for the rebates before Nov. 15 and within 30 days of purchasing the appliance.
