Meet at 1 p.m. at the nursery’s schoolhouse, 15806 Best Road west of Mount Vernon, for a free guided walk, rain or shine, through the autumn splendor of La Conner Flats, an 11-acre English garden adjacent to the nursery.
After the tour, you can enjoy tea and other refreshments, if you wish, at the Granary at La Conner Flats, 15980 Best Road, Mount Vernon. The tea costs $12.
