The Northwest Savoyards, a musical theater company founded in Everett in 1990, has decided on its 2005-2006 season.
True to tradition, the Savoyards will open the season in the fall of 2005 with Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Gondoliers.”
During the winter of 2006, Debut Family Theatre, a program of the Northwest Savoyards will present the musical “Honk,” based on Hans Christian Anderson’s story of “The Ugly Duckling.”
In the spring of 2006, audiences will be treated to the memorable score, dancing, and heartwarming story of “Oliver!”
The Savoyards will close out the season in early summer 2006 with “Little Shop of Horrors,” an affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies, which has become one of the longest-running off-Broadway shows of all time.
The current season resumes with “Song of Singapore” Jan. 14-20, followed by Debut Family Theatre’s musical version of “Cheaper By the Dozen,” March 11-26; and “Nunsense II … the Second Coming,” May 20-June 5.
