Are you and your partner wondering when was the last time you had a night out together?
Does you child balk at the idea of a baby-sitter?
Well, the Pacific Science Center might be able to help you out.
Pacific Science Center is offering Parents Night Out events throughout the sc
hool year. So you go out to your favorite restaurant or to a movie and your child gets to explore Pacific Science Center exhibit halls after hours.
After you drop your child off, Pacific Science Center will treat your child to dinner — a build-your-own nacho bar for dinner and a light snack later in the evening — an IMAX movie, a laser show, a planetarium presentation and other activities.
Drop your child — or children — off as early as 5:30 p.m., and pick them up between 10 and 11 p.m. For children ages 5 to 12; children will be supervised in age groups.
The Parent Nights Out are scheduled for Oct. 22 and Nov. 19 at Pacific Science Center, 200 Second Ave. N., Seattle. The cost is $40 per child or $30 per child for members. To register, call 206-443-2925 or for specific details and themes go to www.pacificsciencecenter.org.
