“From Seattle with Love: A Benefit Concert For Tsunami Relief” will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Seattle Town Hall.

Local political leaders, artists, and media personalities will donate their talents and time to raise money to go to victims of the Dec. 26 tsunami in south Asia. All receipts from the concert will be sent to Mercy Corps and CARE.

Special guests, with more to be announced, include radio personality Dave Ross, local pianist Craig Sheppard, and ensembles performing music and dance from the nations affected by the tsunami: Chao Praya Ensemble, music and dance of Thailand; Indian classical dancers Joyce Paul and Priyanka Wilkins; Indonesian performer I Wayan Sinti; and singers from the Somali Youth Leader Program.

Tickets for “From Seattle with Love” are $75, $50 and $25, available in advance from www.ticketweb.com or at the door. There are no service charges for advance ticket purchases.

Town Hall is at 1119 Eighth Ave. in Seattle, one block east of I-5. For information and performer updates, see www.townhallseattle.org.

Meanwhile, another benefit will air on seven NBC Universal cable and broadcast outlets.

The hour-long program will be shown at 8 p.m. Jan. 15 on the NBC network and on the USA, Bravo, Trio, Sci-Fi, MSNBC and CNBC channels, the company said Monday. It is set to air live on the East Coast and on tape delay in the West.

NBC Universal described the show as “music and celebrity-driven” but did not announce details on performers.
