The University of Washington School of Drama along with theaters such as ACT, Seattle Children’s Theatre and the Seattle Repertory Theatre are opening their doors to Intiman patrons and honoring Intiman tickets for their remaining shows.
Intiman Theatre recently announced it was canceling its remaining shows of the season and going dark due to budgetary reasons.
“We’re happy to do our small part to help the Intiman through this present difficulty,” said Sarah Nash Gates, executive director of the School. “The Intiman is an important part of the Seattle theatre community and we look forward to their return.”
The UW School of Drama has two remaining shows in their season:
“Secret in the Wings by Mary Zimmerman,” April 17 through May 1 at Meany Studio Theatre and “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” by Steve Martin, May 15 through May 29 at Hughes Penthouse Theatre.
Ticket trades can be made through the UW Arts Ticketing Office. Call 206-543-4880 or email at ticket@u.washington.edu or go to the UW School of Drama website.
