Seattle author and radio producer Harriet Baskas is scheduled to sign her books from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Future of Flight Aviation Center at Paine Field.
Baskas writes a travel column for msnbc.com and a monthly column on travel for usatoday.com. She’s also a regular contributor on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.”
Her books include two about people and places in Washington, “Washington Icons: 50 Classic Views of the Evergreen State” ($16.95) and “Washington Curiosities: Quirky Characters, Roadside Oddities &Other Offbeat Stuff” ($14.95).
The free event takes place in the Future of Flight Store in conjunction with a wine tasting and discounts of up to 50 percent on selected Northwest wines.
