Sia returns on Tuesday with “We Are Born,” a bright burst of a pop album.
TRIVIA: Sia co-wrote three of the songs on Christina Aguilera’s new album, “Bionic.”
STANDOUT: “Stop Trying” is as good an example as any of this album’s spunky, neon-toned dance music.
FANS DIG: Anything pink.
ANDY SAYS: Sia used to sing with Zero 7, a downtempo electronica group, so this album might seem like a curveball. Really, though, Sia’s music has grown brighter and bolder since she went solo. On “We Are Born,” she brings her transition to its logical conclusion, delivering a glittery batch of mostly fun tracks that sound tailor-made for either a night club or a Kidz Bop album.
