Admission is free. “STEM+Art+Design,” an exhibit with a mix of ceramics, glass, fiber, basketry, and sculptures from the Northwest Designer Craftsmen, is through June 8. Schack classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metalsmithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass and blown glass. Teen Night is once a month from 6 to 8 p.m., with the next event May 23. Each free event includes up to four different hands-on art projects with professional teaching artists for ages 13-18. Hibulb Cultural Center: Interactive displays introduce you to the legacy of the Tulalip people by giving you a historic perspective of the bands that make up the Tulalip Tribes. These stories are told in Lushootseed and English. Currently in the main gallery is “Interwoven History: Coast Salish Wool.” Since time-immemorial, Coast Salish people have relied on natural resources to create textiles that communicate status, wealth, and functionality. Student art show: Everett Public Schools and the Everett Public Schools Foundation host its 21st annual student art shows. The best work of middle school student artists will be displayed through May 31 in the foyer of the Community Resource Center, 3900 Broadway, Everett. Camano Island Studio Tour: The annual open house at the studios of island artists is scheduled for two weekends, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 18-19, with ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles and woodworking for sale.
