What will she and her loyal sidekick, cousin Renie dig up along with their clams? Daheim plans to read from her mystery and sign books. Floyd McKay

McKay will read from and sign copies of his book “Reporting the Oregon Story: How Activists and Visionaries Transformed a State,” a first-hand account of a transformative period in Pacific Northwest politics, environmental consciousnes, and the shifting role of media.From 1964 to 1986, McKay specialized in political and environmental reporting and commentary and was a DuPont-Columbia Broadcast Award winner for King Broadcasting’s KGW-TV. After a later stint teaching journalism at Western Washington University, he wrote biweekly Op-ed columns for the Seattle Times and is a regular contributor to Crosscut.com. His doctorate is from University of Washington. The store is located at 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park.
