Snohomish County booze calendar

Rock the Boat 3: Scuttlebutt Brewing and Everett Music Initiative are hosting the third annual Rock the Boat music and beer festival from 4 to 10 p.m. Aug. 12 at Boxcar Park, 615 13th St., Everett. Headlining the festival will be Sir Mix-a-Lot and the Meat Puppets. Scuttlebutt will be pouring 10 different beers, including their 21st anniversary beer, Summer Romance; an India Pale Lager; and a secret new beer that will be perfect for sipping in the sunshine. 4 Corners Brewfest: A number of south Snohomish County breweries, including Gallagher’s Where-U-Brew, Watts Brewing and Salish Sea Brewing, will be pouring at this Shoreline brewfest from 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Innis Arden Clubhouse 1430 NW 188th St. There will be a silent auction to benefit the Shoreline Historical Museum.

Lake Stevens Lions Club Blues, Brews and BBQ: The second annual Lake Stevens Lions Club Blues, Brews and BBQ is 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 and 1 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12 at Team Fitness, 1109 Frontier Circle E., Suite A, Lake Stevens. A number of local breweries will be pouring beer, including Sound to Summit Brewing and Diamond Knot Brewing. There will also be food, music and activities for kids.

Beer Can Derby at Naked City Camano: Naked City Camano Island is hosting a Beer and Root Beer Can Derby at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the brewery, 848 N. Sunset Blvd. There will be prizes and, of course, beer.

Shipwreck Bottle Release Celebration: Mukilteo’s Diamond Knot Craft Brewing is hosting a release party for bottles of its Shipwreck American Strong Ale from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 13 at all DK locations. The beer is brewed in honor of the sinking of the Diamond Knot steamship 6 miles off the coast near Port Angeles in 1947. More at www.diamondknot.com.

Bellingham Bay Brewers Cruise: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing will join Boundary Bay Brewing and Stones Throw Brewing on a beer tasting and cruise aboard Victoria 2 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16. PFriem Family Brewers tasting: Stanwood’s Ale Spike Bottles and Taps will host the Hood River, Oregon, brewery from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 17 at the bottleshop, 9300 271st St. NW, Suite B5.

Scuttlebutt Brewing tasting: Redmond’s Bar and Grill is hosting Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing at 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at the restaurant, 7979 Leary Way NE.

Washington Beer’s Collaboration Festival: The Washington Beer Commission is hosting the 2017 Collaboration Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 at South Lake Union’s Discovery Center, 101 Westlake Ave. N., Seattle. The festival will feature 27 collaboration beers from more than 50 Washington breweries, including At Large Brewing, Whitewall Brewing, Scuttlebutt Brewing and Diamond Knot. Circle 7 Brew Works tasting: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting Monroe’s Circle 7 Brew Works for a tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 22 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111.

Everett Food Truck Festival: Enjoy more than 20 local food trucks, live music and a beer garden at this year’s festival, which runs from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Wetmore and California avenues in downtown Everett. Tickets are $5 or $30 and can be purchased at www.everettfoodtruckfestival.com.

Cider Summit Seattle: The eighth annual Cider Summit Seattle is 3 p.m. Sept. 8 and noon Sept. 9 at South Lake Union Discovery Center, 101 Westlake Ave. N., Seattle. More than 50 cideries from around the Northwest will be pouring nearly 200 ciders, meads and cider cocktails. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.cidersummitnw.com.
