Snohomish County booze calendar

Arlington Brew Fest: Nearly 20 breweries, including Diamond Knot Craft Brewing, will be featured at this year’s Arlington Brew Fest from 4 to 9 p.m. July 22 at Legion Memorial Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington. The event is a fundraiser to benefit Usher syndrome research via Vision for a Cure and will feature live music and food trucks. Advance tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.visionforacure.com or $30 at the door.

PNA Summer Beer Taste: The Phinney Neighborhood Association is hosting the PNA Summer Beer Taste from 4 to 7 p.m. July 22 at the association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle. A number of local breweries will be pouring beer, including Diamond Knot Craft Brewing and Lazy Boy Brewing. For more information or to purchase tickets for $30, visit www.phinneycenter.org.

Dog Days of Summer South Everett Pub Crawl: Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing, 715 100th St. SE, Crucible Brewing, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, and Middleton Brews, 607 SE Everett Mall Way, are hosting the Dog Days of Summer South Everett Pub Crawl on July 22 at all three breweries. A special collaboration beer will be served at all three locations. There will be a dog photo booth (Lazy Boy), dog treat food truck (Crucible) and dog grooming station (Middleton).

Brewers by the Bay: Bellingham hosts nearly 40 breweries, including Snohomish County breweries like Whitewall Brewing, for a beerfest from 1 to 5 p.m. July 23 at Depot Market Square, at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Maple Street. Advance tickets are $25 and $30 at the door. Tickets include a commemorative tasting glass and beer tastings.

Dog Days of Skookum: Arlington’s Skookum Brewery is hosting an afternoon of doggy fun, including games, prizes and a Scrub-a-Mutt dog wash from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 26 at the brewery, 17925 59th Ave.

Mayor Townhalls at The Independent: Everett’s The Independent Beer Bar is hosting townhall-style meetings with the Everett mayoral candidates in July. Last one: Cassie Franklin, July 27. The event begins at 7 p.m., with the candidate talking about herself, her vision for the city and a question-and-answer session.

Ballast Point tasting: Monroe’s Harry’s on Tye is hosting San Diego’s Ballast Point Brewing from 5 to 8 p.m. July 28 at the bottleshop, 14286 169th Drive SE, Suite 3.

Anderson Summer School Brewfest: The inaugural Anderson Summer School Brewfest is from noon to 10 p.m. July 29 at McMenamins Anderson School, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. More than 20 local breweries will be on hand, including Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing and a number of Bothell breweries. There will also be live music. Tickets are $25, which include a commemorative tasting glass and 12 tokens.

Sound to Summit Beer &Food Pairing Dinner: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting a beer and food pairing dinner 6 p.m. Aug. 3 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111. A six-course meal has been created to pair with six Sound to Summit beers. Reservations are required. For more information, visit www.sound2summit.com.

Sky Valley Corks &Kegs Block Party: The Monroe Chamber of Commerce is hosting more than a dozen local breweries, wineries and cideries from 3 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12 at Harry’s on Tye, 14286 169th Drive SE, Monroe. There will also be food trucks and live music. Advance tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.corkkeg.eventbrite.com.
