Northwest Scottish Fiddlers: This group of people from all walks of life performs free at 2 p.m. May 1 in the auditorium at Everett Public Library, Everett and Hoyt avenues. Music from Scotland, Nova Scotia and the Shetland Islands will be featured, on fiddles, guitar, piano and string bass, under the direction of Calum MacKinnon, long time Scottish fiddler from Edmonds. The fiddlers have performed for several years to standing-room-only crowds at Northwest Folklife Festival.

Mill Creek Chorale: The 50-voice group’s spring concert, “Let It Shine,” featuring Broadway tunes and gospel songs, will be presented at 3 and 7 p.m. May 14 at Advent Lutheran Church, 4306 132nd St. SE, Mill Creek.
