Steam Powered Giraffe: More than a band, more than a theatrical show, this project was formed in San Diego by twins David and Michael Bennet, Isabella Bennet and Samuel Luke. The quirky act combines comedic sketches, improvised android banter, original music, steam effects and robot pantomime, popular with the steampunk culture. The show can be seen and heard by the entire family at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Call 425-258-6766. Tickets are $18.

HAPA: Often described as producing the “Sound of Maui,” the group HAPA will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. For tickets, go to www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Champagne Honeybee (AKA Rani Weatherby): The Seattle-based singer performs in her hometown at 4 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. The Snohomish High School Jam Club. which is also co-sponsoring the event, will open the show. Weatherby, a 2001 graduate of Snohomish High School, performs jazz, blues and ukulele soul. She is currently working on her second album. Tickets are $10 and available at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.

Pacific MusicWorks: The orchestra, under the direction of Grammy award winner Stephen Stubbs, performs its “Viva Vivaldi” concert at 8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St., Edmonds. Tickets are $10-$45 and available at www.PacificMusicWorks.org or call 206-708-6003.

The Winterlings: With guest Jess Lambert, the band plays 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27, Cafe Zippy, 2811 Wetmore Ave., Everett. Suggested donation is $5 to $15.

The chorale’s 50th anniversary season continues with “Celebrate and Shout” and a guest performance by the Snohomish County Children’s Choir at 7 p.m. April 16 and 3 p.m. April 17 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.

“Celebrate and Sing” is 7 p.m. June 11 and 3 p.m. June 12, featuring a collage of American choral music from the chorale’s 50-year history.

The Neil Youngs: The tribute band celebrates the music of Neil Young and Crazy Horse at 8 p.m. March 4 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Call 425-258-6766. Tickets are $18 at the door, $15 in advance.

Boston Brass: The group, which plays classical and jazz, performs at 7:30 p.m. March 4 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. For tickets, $29 to $39 or $15 for youth, call 425-275-9595.

A concert version of the musical “Phantom of the Opera” is set for 3 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. March 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 196th Street SW, Lynnwood.

The concert version of the musical “Carousel” is at 3 or 7 p.m. June 11 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: All performances are at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller, Everett. More information is at www.pacificachamberorchestra.org.

On April 10, the chamber group performs Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ and Strings with organist Youngjjn Joo.

The season finale on June 5 features Block’s Concertino for Flute, Viola and Strings.

Spring Fling to that Fascinating American Rhythm is the orchestra’s fundraising gala at 5:30 p.m. April 2 at the Hansen Conference Center at Xfinity Arena, Hewitt and Broadway, Everett. Tickets are $90 and include a gourmet dinner, dancing, champagne reception, auctions and a mini concert by the orchestra.

The “Listener’s Choice” concert is 7 p.m. May 14 at Everett Civic Auditorium, featuring Villa-Lobos’ “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5” with soprano Ellaina Lewis, and pianist Alexander Ardakov performing the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor.
