Everett Meaningful Movies: “We the People 2.0” is showing at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. This film explores the work of the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund, which helps people protect themselves against pollution, environmental damage and other hazards by writing community home rule charters spelling out citizens’ rights, community rights and the rights of nature. Edmonds Center for the Arts: A free screening of “The Story of Fascism in Europe,” a movie by Rick Steves, host of the travel TV show “Rick Steves’ Europe,” is scheduled at 7 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds.
