Wandering Reel Traveling Film Festival: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12, Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. For $10 see a collection of short films about the differences in our country; www.wanderingreel.org.

“West Side Story”: Edmonds Center for the Arts begins its new Film Cabaret series with a showing of the 1961 movie version of the Bernstein musical at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N. The Jake Bergevin Quartet will open by playing a jazz arrangement of the original score; $15.

“He Named Me Malala”: A free showing of the documentary is set for 6:30 p.m. Oct. at the Lincoln Theatre, 712 S. First St., Mount Vernon.

“The Wizard of Oz”: The Edmonds Center for the Arts shows the movie as part of its Dementia-Inclusive Film Series at 10 a.m. Oct. 15 at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N.

Sundance Movie and Wine Night: “Sing Your Song” with Harry Belafonte at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Call 425-258-6766. Movie is free, wine is $10, served at 6 p.m.

Silent Movie Night: The Historic Everett Theatre rolls out its pipe organ for a showing of D.W. Griffith’s “Intolerance” at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at 2911 Colby Ave. Tickets are $20 and include the celebration of the theater’s 115th anniversary. Call 425-258-6766.
