On Sept. 8, see the 2007 movie “I’m Not There,” which offered different aspects of the life of Bob Dylan, who is variously played by Christian Bale, Marcus Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Ben Wishaw and Cate Blanchett. The film on Sept. 22 is “Straight Outta Compton” — from 2015 with O’Shea Jackson, Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell in the story about the rap group N.W.A.
Sno-King Meaningful Movies: “The Mask You Live In” will be shown at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 8109 224th St. SW, Edmonds. The documentary by Jennifer Siebel Newsom explores what she sees as the harmful notions of masculinity in American culture.
