Special film showings around Snohomish County

Classic Movie Mondays: The city of Marysville shows classic movies on the fourth Monday of the month at the historic Marysville Opera House. On Oct 24, just in time for Halloween, see the Boris Karloff classic, “The Bride of Frankenstein.” Doors open at 5:30. Admission is $3. The film rolls at 6 p.m. Refreshments available for purchase.

Independent Spirits Film Series: Screened by Evergreen Cinema Society, the next film “Pan’s Labyrinth” plays at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Evergreen branch of Everett Public Library, 9512 Evergreen Way. Free.

“Hocus Pocus”: Downtown Everett Association presents a free showing of the movie at 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Xfinity Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave.

“Rocky Horror Picture Show”: 8 p.m. Oct. 29, Lincoln Theatre, 712 S. First St., Mount Vernon. Not for anyone younger than high school age. Call 360-336-8955.

“Cabaret”: Edmonds Center for the Arts continues its new Film Cabaret series with a showing of the 1972 movie at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the center, 410 Fourth Ave. N. More at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Silent Movie and Pipe Organ Night: For its 115th birthday, the Historic Everett Theatre rolls out its pipe organ for a free showing of “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at 2911 Colby Ave. John Barrymore once performed at the theater in Everett and the movie stars this actor. Call 425-258-6766.

Sno-King Meaningful Movies: “Consumerism and the Limits to Imagination” shows at 7 p.m. Nov. 12, Edmonds Unitarian Universalist, 8109 224th St. SW. Free. Donations accepted.
