If the kids are itching to wear their Halloween costumes before the big night, they can don them Sunday and head to Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett for an afternoon of goblins and ghouls and ookie-spookie fun.
It’s aptly called “Halloween With the Lights On,” and the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is free with museum admission. Regular museum hours on Sunday are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will feature two story times, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., at which the museum’s website promises “The Thirteen Nights of Halloween” will come to life.
The little princesses and Spideys can test their scientific knowledge by experimenting with a cauldron of bubbles, mixing ooey-gooey potions and solving the mysteries of disappearing ghost poop. What kid could resist?
Imagine Children’s Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett. General admission is $7.95. Tots age 1 and younger are admitted free. Call 425-258-1006 or go to the website, www.imaginecm.org for information about other museum events.
