So when he arrives at a fishing lodge in Georgia, it seems harmless enough to masquerade as a foreigner who can’t speak English. “Venus in Fur”: Directed by Shana Cooper, Seattle Repertory Theatre stages this play for mature audiences through March 9. Playwright Thomas Novachek is at a loss. There are simply no actresses talented enough to play his leading lady. Then in walks Vanda, a mysterious siren with the uncanny ability to inhabit his character.
