‘Lion’ roars back
Disney’s “The Lion King” returns to Seattle’s Paramount Theatre next year, from Feb. 11 to March 15.
Tickets for the Seattle engagement are available to season ticket holders who call the season ticket holder hotline at 888-451-4042, and groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets by calling the corporate and group sales department at 888-214-6856.
Individual tickets will go on sale to the general public in October.
Now in its second sold-out decade on Broadway, “The Lion King” is the winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical. The score features Elton John and Tim Rice’s music from the animated film along with three new songs by John and Rice, additional music by South African Lebo M, Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, Julie Taymor and Hans Zimmer.
The U.S. National Tour is one of seven “Lion King” productions running worldwide.
