Seattle Children’s Theatre has announced its Summer Season of student productions.
The line-up includes: “Cam Jansen,” “Beauty Idol,” “Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations,” “Vesuvia!,” “Medieval Farces,” “High School Hamlet” and “Urinetown, The Musical.”
Summer Season is the only time professional actors step down so drama students can have their time in the spotlight on stage. Youth of all ages and grade levels have auditioned, were casted, and are rehearsing to present this special collection of productions running July 24 through Aug. 23.
All shows are performed at Charlotte Martin Theatre at Seattle Children’s Theatre, 201 Thomas St., Seattle Center, except “Urinetown,” which is performed at Center House Theatre in Seattle Center. Tickets and information at www.sct.org.
