Stamos jumps on the sinking ship of ‘ER’

One season later than he originally wanted to, John Stamos is joining NBC’s “ER” as a regular cast member, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stamos was reportedly going to join “ER” last season, but ABC squashed that plan when it renewed his sitcom, “Jake in Progress.” It was canceled after one episode.

Stamos will continue the paramedic with a military past role that he played as a guest star this season.
