What: A 2.5-mile, out-and-back walk along a path near the Bothell-Everett Highway in Mill Creek
Where: From Dumas Road near Henry M. Jackson High School to Mill Creek Town Center and back.
Why: This path is in the heart of urban Mill Creek next to the Bothell-Everett Highway. Although this path runs near an often busy road, it has a better ambiance than the average city sidewalk; The path winds through trees and over wood bridges. Start the walk at the corner of Dumas Road and the Bothell-Everett Highway, near Henry M. Jackson High School. Walk south along the path until Mill Creek Boulevard near The Mill Creek Town Center. A variety of nearby businesses make this a good place to stop for an ice cream cone or a cold drink before heading back. The newly expanded highway has bicycle lanes in both directions. Bicycles, wheelchairs and strollers should have no problem negotiating the path. Dogs on leashes are OK but must be cleaned up after.
