Paul-Elliott Cobbs leads the orchestra in a performance of “The Blue Danube Waltz” by Johann Strauss Jr., one of six works on the program.
Also on the program are Handel’s “Water Music,” “The Fountains of Rome” by Respighi and “The Moldau” by Smetana.
Concertmaster Fred Chu is the featured soloist on “The Lark Ascending” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Hal Ott is spotlighted in Carl Reinecke’s “Flute Concerto.”
