Summer’s here. There’re no more excuses. Lace up your walking shoes and join Edmonds Senior Center’s Step Out Edmonds Walking Club.
The club, sponsored by Fairwinds Brighton Court and the city of Edmonds, is open to ages 50 and older.
Walks begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, rain or shine, at the senior center, 220 Railroad Ave.
Walkers pick up a map at the center and each walk is about 3 miles, but walkers can go at their own pace for as little or far as they wish.
It’s $10 to sign up for the summer’s walks that continue through Aug. 27, and for that you get a T-shirt as well as walking buddies to keep you motivated,
Sign up at the Edmonds Senior Center administration office or by calling 425-774-5555, ext. 104 or 108.
