In the new animated special, “How Murray Saved Christmas,” a cranky deli owner (voiced by Jerry Stiller) is recruited as a last-minute fill-in for Santa Claus. The voice cast also includes Sean Hayes and Jason Alexander. 8 p.m., NBC.
“A Very Grammy Christmas” features performances by Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw and Pharrell Williams. Also: The nominees for Album of the Year are announced. 9 p.m., CBS.
