The weekend’s highlights on TV include:

You’ll score points with your teen daughters if you let them know that One Direction will be the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.” And, oh yeah, Amy Adams will host. 11:29 p.m. Saturday, NBC.

“The Sound of Music Live!”: Last year’s hit returns to rub salt into Peter Pan’s wounds. 8 p.m. Saturday, NBC.

“Christmas Icetastrophe”: An errant meteorite brings dangerous ice and freezing temps to a tiny town. 9 p.m. Saturday, Syfy.

We were so ready to give up on “Homeland” after a clunky Season 3 in which Brody met his maker. But Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and company have revived our interest with a turbocharged fourth season that, sadly, comes to an end this week. We can only hope our heroes make it out of strife-torn Islamabad alive. 9 p.m. Sunday, Showtime.

We already told you about the live “Sound of Music” on Saturday. But what you really want to see is the “real” one with Julie Andrews. 8 p.m. Sunday, ABC.

We have no idea what will happen to star-crossed lovers Noah and Alison (Dominic West and Ruth Wilson) when “The Affair” wraps up its scintillating first season tonight. But as usual, we’ll be riveted to our sofas and loudly scolding them both. 10 p.m. Sunday, Showtime.

“Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons”: Take whatever you want, really. Just go. 9 p.m. Sunday, E!

They’ve made a culinary list and they’re checking it twice on “Top 10 Restaurants with Food Network Magazine,” 9 p.m. Sunday, Food.
