Tuesday’s highlights on TV include:
“Cold War Roadshow” is the latest film under the “American Experience” umbrella. It recalls how Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev made a 12-day tour of the U.S. in 1959, meeting Marilyn Monroe, Eleanor Roosevelt, addressing the United Nations and touring a farm. But little Nikita haz a sad when a planned excursion to Disneyland is canceled. 9 p.m., PBS.
