This weekend’s best bets on TV include:
“Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014”: Apparently, Walters isn’t quite done with TV just yet. After “retiring” from on-camera work in May, the 85-year-old journalist returns with the 20th edition of her perennially high-rated special. The guest list includes Taylor Swift, Chelsea Handler, Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson and Oprah Winfrey. 9 p.m. Sunday, ABC.
In “White House Christmas 2014,” host Genevieve Gorder gives us a peek inside the president’s crib as it’s decorated for the holidays. Something tells us it will be a tad more fancy than our digs. 8 p.m. Sunday, HGTV.
Season 6 of “Undercover Boss” begins with True Value president and CEO John Hartmann embedding himself in his hardware company. He’s stunned to learn that an employee is spewing inappropriate pickup lines while working. We say: Drop the hammer, John! 8 p.m. Sunday, CBS.
Elton John and others perform Disney musical hits in “Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 years.” 7 p.m. Sunday, ABC.
Towns with Christmas-related names are profiled in “Christmastown, U.S.A.” Wait ‘til they get to Notmore-Fruitcake, Minnesota. 7 p.m. Sunday, Travel.
It’s good night and good luck for Jeff Daniels and company in the series finale of “The Newsroom.” 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO.
