The RAM Restaurant and Brewery Brings Home 2 Medals From GABF!
LAKEWOOD, WA — The RAM Family of Restaurants and Breweries was recently honored with a gold medal and a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. This year marks the 15th consecutive year that company brewers have been fortunate enough to have been awarded medals from this prestigious competition.
Brewer Ty Nash, out of the Highlands Ranch C.B. &Potts location, crafted a gold medal winner and took home his first medal from the GABF on his 5 year anniversary with the company. His brew, The Weasel, is a classic Fest Bier which features a mildly sweet maltiness and a clean, balanced hop character.
The White Eagle Smoked Wheat, a silver medal in the historical category, is based on the classic Polish Gratzer and brewed with oak smoked wheat malt to create a slightly smoky, refreshing and surprisingly sessionable ale. Brewed by Eric Quick out of the Schaumburg, IL RAM location, Quick has won 2 silvers in his two and a half years with the company.
